"Two years in the making. Two weeks in the recording. "What the fuck are they up to now?" This is what Andrew Weatherall and Keith Tenniswood expect you to think when you play their new album From The Double Gone Chapel. That's Weatherall singing. And Tenniswood playing guitar and bass, while a number of drummers take their turn on an old kit that once belonged to Jah Wobble's band, and then Killing Joke. Bringing the voodoo to From The Double Gone Chapel. Raw power and raw emotion, rather than slipping into your consciousness, From The Double Gone Chapel punches its way in. For those familiar with Weatherall's band of the mid-90s, Sabres of Paradise, this could be the even darker album following the murky depths of Haunted Dancehall and Sabresonic II. Tough love, anyone?"

Warp press release:
Two Lone Swordsmen have just completed a new album entitled "From The Double Gone Chapel".
Since 2000's TINY REMINDERS, Andy Weatherall and Keith Tenniswood have been kept busy with their burgeoning ROTTERS GOLF CLUB label and empire; DJing round the world (with Keith also releasing albums and playing live under his RadioactiveMan guise); and recently releasing "Peppered with Spastic Magic", a compilation of the best of their Remixes to date.
After rebuilding their studio from the ground up, the Swordsmen have also completely restructured their sound, with the new album emerging as a very live-sounding record with lots of live drums, bass by Keith, and vocals by Andy himself...
